I chose this first picture because it is too perfect! This cat wants to pounce so bad, I love the look on its face! I have three cats and they are constantly pouncing on me and each other. However, I think that it is also a perfect illustration to explain how it is important to take the opportunities that come to you. There are so many things that I think about where I did not take my chance and not I am wishing that I had.


Remote cat

I picked this cat picture because I liked the quote a lot. I think there are a lot of times where I complain about something when I really should just suck it up and change it myself. If only there was a remote that could do this, but that would be like that Adam Sandler movie Click, which does not go well for him until the end. (Sorry for the spoiler if you have not yet seen it) . Also, I chose this picture because this cat is just as fat as my oldest cat, Todd, which you can see a picture of him in my comments wall for my project!

Hello,  My name is Madison, but I also go by Madi. I am studying Criminology at the University of Oklahoma and I am on track to graduate in May 2019. I took twenty hours during the last spring semester and I am happy to share that I got all A's. One of the most interesting classes I have had for my major is an internship over this last summer. I interned at Mabel Basset Correctional Center, a women's prison in McLoud, Oklahoma. As awesome as that sounds, it was also very mentally and emotionally draining. Week 4 Story: Pinky and the Snake

Once upon a time, there was a brave Pinky . He liked to go on adventures, but his parents made sure that he never strayed too far. Before he left on his adventures, they always reminded him, "Now son, don't wander too far or the Snake will get to you quicker than we can."  One evening, the Pinky decided to sneak out of his home. He zipped through the tall grass, climbed over rocks, squeezed under logs when suddenly he began to hear the babbling brook. He followed the sound, and as he got closer the sounds grew louder until finally, he stumbled upon the rushing water. As the Pinky walked along the brook, he ran into the Grasshopper, who was playing his jazzy tune. The Pinky asked, "Excuse me, but why do you make so much noise this late at night?"  And the Grasshopper replied, "So that those who wonder have something to listen for." Confused, the Pinky closed his eyes, focused on the Grasshopper's song, and took in a deep breath
