Week 8 Progress

Looking back, I do not feel that I have done my best work, although I am proud of the work that I have done. I know that I need to step it up moving forward. The thing I am most proud of, so far, is my semester project. I have put a lot of effort into the website and story creation. I would have to say that working on the project is one of my favorite assignments each week, but I do not always do a story, which I also enjoy. My schedule has been hectic since the beginning of the semester so I cannot say that I have a good weekly routine. Actually, my routine has gotten worse as the semester has progressed, i.e., I am doing most of the assignments last minute or not at all. Also, I have not done any of the extra-credit opportunities (I think I have only done one...), which is a BIG mistake. However, when I am working on my assignments, I get really into it and I think I have created some pretty enjoyable stories and a kickass website!

Looking forward, I want to change my work ethic. I think I need to start my assignments at the beginning of the week and do a couple, instead of waiting until the night of or the grace period for each assignment, which has just created more stress for me. The pitfalls I want to avoid are procrastination, missing an assignment and/or any extra credit.

Hello,  My name is Madison, but I also go by Madi. I am studying Criminology at the University of Oklahoma and I am on track to graduate in May 2019. I took twenty hours during the last spring semester and I am happy to share that I got all A's. One of the most interesting classes I have had for my major is an internship over this last summer. Week 4 Story: Pinky and the Snake

Once upon a time, there was a brave Pinky . He liked to go on adventures, but his parents made sure that he never strayed too far. Before he left on his adventures, they always reminded him, "Now son, don't wander too far or the Snake will get to you quicker than we can."  One evening, the Pinky decided to sneak out of his home. He zipped through the tall grass, climbed over rocks, squeezed under logs when suddenly he began to hear the babbling brook. He followed the sound, and as he got closer the sounds grew louder until finally, he stumbled upon the rushing water. As the Pinky walked along the brook, he ran into the Grasshopper, who was playing his jazzy tune. The Pinky asked, "Excuse me, but why do you make so much noise this late at night?"  And the Grasshopper replied, "So that those who wonder have something to listen for." Confused, the Pinky closed his eyes, focused on the Grasshopper's song, and took in a deep breath
